What Boost Whitening does for your smile
Boost Whitening overview
Boost Whitening is a professional follow-up treatment designed to maintain and build on the results of your initial Full Whitening session. The appointment takes approximately 45 minutes and refreshes your brightness, continues improving your shade, and helps you hold onto your preferred level of whiteness over time.
You can book a Boost session anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months after your previous whitening, depending on how bright you want to stay. Waiting longer than 6 months often means the staining has returned enough that a full-length session becomes necessary again, which costs more and takes longer to complete.

When should you book a Boost?
- 2–4 weeks after initial whiteningcontinue brightening.
- Every 3 monthsmaintain your brightest shade year-round.
- Around 6 monthsrefresh your smile after allowing some fading.
What Boost Whitening helps with
Coffee, tea, wine, and everyday foods gradually dull your results after a Full Whitening session. Without maintenance, that brightness fades and deeper staining sets in.
Boost Whitening lifts surface stains before they bond to enamel, keeping your shade consistent rather than letting it slip back to where you started. Clients who book regular Boost sessions spend less over the course of a year than those who wait for a full reset. Booking a Boost every 3 months keeps your smile consistently bright and costs less than letting results fade and starting over with a Full Whitening treatment.

Why choose professional whitening maintenance
A Boost session is shorter and gentler than a Full Whitening, but it still uses professional-grade gel applied under controlled conditions.
Controlled professional application
Your gums are protected before the whitening gel is applied, reducing irritation and directing the active ingredients precisely where they’re needed.
Sensitivity-conscious treatment
A Boost Sensitivity Whitening option is available at every session. Around 95% of clients don’t experience sensitivity after their appointment, so you can maintain your results comfortably.
Guided treatment frequency
Your technician advises on the right rebooking interval for your goals, whether that’s every few weeks for continued brightening or every few months for steady maintenance.

Is a Boost session right for you
Not every client needs the same treatment at the same time. Here’s how to tell whether a Boost is the right call or whether a Full Whitening makes more sense.
Time since your last whitening
under 6 months favours a Boost; over 6 months may require a Full Whitening.
Current shade
if your teeth still look noticeably brighter than before your first treatment, a Boost is likely sufficient.
Budget
four Boost sessions per year through the Smile Club membership cost $50/month and save over $150 annually compared to booking individually.
Sensitivity concerns
a Boost Sensitivity Whitening option is available at $150 + HST for clients who prefer a gentler formula.
A good fit if
- You had a Full Whitening or Boost session within the last 6 months and want to maintain or continue brightening.
- You’re looking for a shorter appointment (approximately 45 minutes) that fits into a busy schedule.
- You want to keep costs lower by preventing stain buildup rather than paying for a full reset.
Consider another option if
- Your last whitening was more than 6 months ago or you’ve never had a professional whitening treatment. A Full Whitening session is the better starting point.
- You have untreated dental concerns such as cavities or gum disease. Address those with your dentist first.
Regular Boost sessions are the most cost-effective way to stay bright. Waiting too long means paying more to start over.
